Carl Bradbrook BVSc CertVA DipECVAA MRCVS
RCVS & European Specialist in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia
I graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2002 and moved into mixed practice in Staffordshire. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the challenges of both large and small animal work and at the same time developed a keen interest in anaesthesia. I completed a residency programme working at the Royal Veterinary College and Davies Veterinary Specialists and gained my RCVS certificate in veterinary anaesthesia in 2007. I became a European Specialist in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia in 2013 and gained RCVS Specialist Status in Veterinary Anaesthesia in 2016.
I have worked in a number of referral centres both in university and private practice and have extensive experience of managing a wide range of cases. I was a lecturer in veterinary anaesthesia at the University of Liverpool before moving to provide an anaesthesia and analgesia consultancy service.
I currently visit several practices on a regular basis to provide a consultancy service, provide locum veterinary anaesthesia cover for both university and private referral practices as well as participating in provision of CPD to both veterinary surgeons and nurses. I am also involved in teaching on the CertAVP modules provided by the University of Liverpool.
